Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Overlift collects, why we collect it, and how it is handled. In short: we collect what the app needs to work, we don't show ads, and we don't sell your data.

What we collect

• Account information. Your email address and login credentials, used to create and secure your account.
• Workout data. The exercises, sets, reps, weights, and progress you log, so the app can track your training and plan your progression.
• Videos and audio you choose to share. If you use AI form analysis, the video you record or select is uploaded for analysis. If you talk to the AI Coach, your speech is converted to text. You are always in control of when the camera or microphone is used.
• Purchase status. Whether you have an active subscription, verified through Apple. We never see your payment details — Apple handles all payments.

How your data is used

• To run the core features of the app: logging workouts, tracking progress, and planning your training.
• To provide AI features: videos you submit are processed by our AI service providers solely to generate your form feedback, and your goals or questions are processed to generate coaching responses.
• To keep your data in sync across your devices.

Where your data lives

Your account and workout data are stored with Supabase, our hosted backend provider. Videos submitted for form analysis are processed by AI model providers acting on our behalf and are used only to produce your analysis — not to train models and not for advertising.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not show third-party ads or share your data with advertisers.
• We do not access your camera, microphone, or photo library without your explicit action and permission.

Your choices

• You can delete individual workouts or videos in the app at any time.
• You can request deletion of your entire account and all associated data by contacting us (see below). We will complete the deletion within 30 days.
• You can revoke camera, microphone, and speech-recognition permissions in your device settings at any time.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems, except where we are legally required to retain it.

Children

Overlift is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes, we will update this page and note the new date at the top.
